“Remember when you were young, waking up to the smell of fresh dew on the grass in the first morning sunlight when all was yet still and peaceful?” These are the thoughts expressed by Donna Ochs as she recalls her second experience at 4C-Camp for Adults. Donna continues, “the people, the workshops, the food, the outdoors… made for a beautiful three days.” You too can share this experience this summer in August at 4-C Camp for Adults located in the beautiful woods at Camp Shankitunk in Delhi, NY. 4C-Camp for Adults is where grownups get together with friends (and friends they haven’t met yet) to enjoy the great outdoors along with workshops covering a variety of themes, music, the evening campfire, the pool, great food and so much more.
Themes for this year’s workshops include: Fin & Feather, Discovering Your Optimum Physical and Mental Self, Self Discovery Through Art, Our History; Our Heritage, and In the Old Ways. Details of each workshop and registration forms will be available soon (see below for contact information). Camp begins at 1 p.m. on Thursday 9 August and runs through Sunday 12 August 2012.
4C-Camp, which stands for “Camping to Create Caring Communities”, is an award-winning program for adults aged 18 and above. 4C-Camp for Adults is open to both overnight and day campers, is reasonably priced at $125.00 (includes food and lodging), and can accommodate persons with walking disabilities.
